This creates new opportunities for driven and skilled individuals to join one of the fastest-growing consultancies globally.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced middleware Java Software Developer with a strong background in the Financial Services Domain. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in backend Java, Springboot, microservices and Kafka stream. A person with high mental aptitude, problem solving and debugging skills, proactive, self-motivated and strong communications skills will be successful in this role. Working Knowledge of MongoDB is must. Kubernetes and AWS are nice to have.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, implement, test, and monitor best in class software components using Java , microservices, Spring boot and Kafka streams.
• Write unit tests using frameworks like JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to automate build, deployment, and testing processes.
• Contribute to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.QualificationsSkills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (5+ years) working as a middleware Java Developer using Springboot including spring batch, spring cache and JPA
• Strong knowledge in Kafka stream, must have experience in building applications using Kafka streams in production.
• Strong knowledge in MongoDB
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tool chain , specially pipelines running on Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Design patterns include but not limited to CQRS and Event driven architecture.
• Experience in unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in ETL work from oracle to kafka and mongo db.
• Hands-on experience in AWS is an advantage specially in S3, AWS secrets manager, Elastic Load Balancer.
• Hands-on experience in IBM MQ experience, FIX protocol, ftp, read/write large file, camel is an advantage.
