We have over 200 servers on premises to support production, disaster recovery, databases, applications and over 1000 servers in Lab environment. IS&T is transformational not only for BMC but also for the customer experience, because we give a 360 degrees view to the customer about the products they should know, opportunities in the pipeline, and any service issues outstanding with the customer. We use cutting-edge technologies to manage BMC\'s infrastructure and showcase it to the customers - program is called BMC on BMC!Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC\'s and your own success:

• Manage production environments to ensure systems are running efficiently, effectively, accurately, and securely.
• Manage escalation procedures to address and resolve high-priority issues promptly.
• Maintain the accuracy and security of systems to protect data and ensure operational integrity.
• Success Behaviours:
• Ensure high availability for all applications, reduce/eliminate system outages and outage windows, automate to reduce MTTR, determines root cause of issues and prevent it from happening again.
• Understand enterprise scale, integrated applications from a process and business perspective.
• Communicates and orchestrates actions effectively for project success (e.g., proactively mitigates risks before issues impact the project).
• Escalates appropriately for issues impacting internal opportunities, project delivery or Customer satisfaction, following process and policy.
• Continuously improves own skills and proactively seeks new learning and engagement opportunities.
• Fulfils all Ethics and Compliance training/testing requirements to always protect BMC interests and assets.

To ensure you\'re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Infrastructure Support, communications, and network protocols, or equivalent education and experience.
• Preferred experience of Application Infrastructure Support on Hybrid Technology Platforms (On Prem, SaaS, PaaS)
• Strong experience in process workflows and operational support, application patching and operations optimization.
• Experience with implementing Monitoring & Observability Solutions leveraging AI/ML capabilities.
• Collaboration experience with application, network, and security teams for application troubleshooting and impact assessment.
• Hands-on experience deploying, and managing corporate IT application infrastructure in Linux, Windows, AIX ensuring 24x7 availability with on-call rotations.
• Expertise in Continuous Deployment (CD) using tools like Control-M and Ansible.
• Well versed with Incident, Change, and problem management (ITSM) Processes with Remedy (or Similar platform).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in multicultural and geographically distributed environments.

• Cloud - AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud (preferred exposure to one of the Cloud)
• Operating System - Windows, Linux, AIX
• Authentication applications - Okta SSO, LDAP, Active Directory.
• Application & Web Servers - JBoss EAP, Tomcat & Apache HTTP.
• Application Integration- Web Methods EAI, Web Methods API.
• SCM - GitHub, Bitbucket.
• CI/CD - Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Containerization & Others Ancillary Tools- Docker, Kubernetes.
• Monitoring - Splunk, ELK (or equivalent).
• Automation - Ansible/Terraform.
• Testing - SmartBear Test Complete, Postman.
