The role is suited to an experienced Windows Platform Engineer with a proven understanding in enterprise data security. An additional key component of this role is project initiatives, with development work to enhance the services provided within the environment. The Data Protection Fleet provides a stable, yet agile and dynamic infrastructure platform to support the business functional requirements whilst managing associated risks. The role concentrates on the provisioning of data access security tools and reporting services to internal client groups. Tool development experience is essential to assist the global teams in developing and deploying technology solutions to automate tasks where possible.Job profile / Responsibilities:The candidate must demonstrate strong technical qualities - preferably in a global environment, ideally within the finance industry. xe2x80xa2 Provide consultancy services to other technology fleets and departments xe2x80xa2 Provide architecture assurance on security platform initiatives xe2x80xa2 Develop custom tooling using but not limited to PowerShell or Python xe2x80xa2 Maintain a secure and stable Data Asset infrastructure, managing and mitigating risks using tools, policies, processes, and procedures available xe2x80xa2 Provide reporting and metrics xe2x80xa2 Resolve incidents and production outage impacting Data Asset environment xe2x80xa2 Undertake problem ownership, escalate, and liaise with internal clients/external vendor when required, resulting in satisfactory problem resolution xe2x80xa2 Create, review, maintain and update documentation including documenting & publishing fixes in central knowledge base xe2x80xa2 Work with global colleagues to define globally consistent processes and procedures xe2x80xa2 Regularly re-evaluate processes and procedures and instigate service improvement initiatives xe2x80xa2 Active participation within and amongst squads and colleagues, providing constructive feedback when necessary xe2x80xa2 Continuously innovate - identify areas for automation where possible xe2x80xa2 Maximize the use of existing resources, skills, and technologies to the greatest benefit xe2x80xa2 Responsible for the planning and controlled execution of releases into the managed environment xe2x80xa2 Input into Business Continuity Planning and Practices. xe2x80xa2 Provide 24*7 production side coverage including on call rotationQualifications xe2x80x93 ExternalSkill Set Technical Skills: xe2x80xa2 At least 5 years hands on experience on Windows Servers 2012 and later including CIFS Shares, NTFS, failover clustering and IIS Web Services xe2x80xa2 Strong knowledge on Active Directory, LDAP, and Group Policy xe2x80xa2 General networking skills (Firewalls, IP routing, SMB, SI Model, packet trace and analysis, DNS, etc.) xe2x80xa2 Scripting and Development skills (PowerShell/Python) xe2x80xa2 SQL 2012 Server and knowledge on constructing SQL queries xe2x80xa2 Knowledge on Monitoring Tools xe2x80x93 Configure/Setup of rules and alerting xe2x80xa2 Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux xe2x80xa2 Good understanding of Agile Principles and SDLC xe2x80xa2 Hardware Vendor software & toolsets (HP/Dell/IBM) xe2x80xa2 CISSP or similar security related certification would be advantage xe2x80xa2 Hands on knowledge with at least one of the following would be an advantage 1) Varonis Data Privilege (DP) 2) Varonis DatAdvantage (DA)Soft Skills:

• Active interest in the domain of Data Security xe2x80xa2 Manage projects within Agile principles and use of Jira on Kanban board xe2x80xa2 Good understanding of ITIL framework xe2x80xa2 Interpersonal Skills xe2x80x93 Communicative, flexible, self-driven and collaborative team player xe2x80xa2 Excellent written and oral English communication skills: capable of writing technical documentation, making presentations to audience, and interacting with upper management, colleagues, and customers. xe2x80xa2 A self-starter that recognize the importance and value of working as a member of an agile squad.
