Key Objectives of this Role:Data Strategy and Governance:
Design Data Policies: Set goals around creating effective data policies that govern data access, security, and compliance.
Ensure Data Quality: Establish objectives for maintaining high-quality data, including data cleansing, validation, and consistency.
Lifecycle Management: Define strategies for data lifecycle management, from creation to archival or deletion1.Technical Leadership:
Architect Data Solutions: Set goals to design and implement robust data solutions using Azure services.
Optimize Performance: Aim to enhance data pipelines, storage, and analytics performance.
Stay Current: Continuously learn about the latest Azure services and data technologies2.Team Collaboration and Mentorship:
Lead and Inspire: Set objectives to guide and motivate your team toward successful data projects.
Mentorship: Foster a culture of learning by mentoring junior team members.

Data Movement: Measure the efficiency of data movement within your system or between systems. Optimize data flow to minimize latency and maximize throughput.

User Paths: Analyze user actions within your application or system. Optimize user flows to enhance user experience and achieve business goals.

Storage Scalability: Evaluate the ability of your database infrastructure to scale with varying workloads.
Storage Utilization: Monitor data services usage to optimize resource allocation2.Key Year One Deliverables: Improve data flow efficiency.Qualification, Experience and Skills: Specify the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience required to perform the role, including education, certifications, and work experience.Experience in developing and maintaining an integrated, domain-oriented, conceptual enterprise data model representing essential data produced and consumed across the enterprise.

• Analyze and translate Business needs into Conceptual data Models and data flows
• Analyze and design the business rules for data cleansing that are require for staging the data from OLTP & OLAP systems
• Maintains data integrity by reducing data redundancy, trends in data use and single sources of data
• Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations
• In-depth understanding and demonstrated proficiency in data warehousing concepts, best practices, and dimensional database design.
• Experience in working with business leaders and IT teams to define and implement a roadmap on data management, business intelligence, or analytics solutions.
• Experience in managing data sets and working with ETL Data warehouse and Data Lake solutions.

Technical and Functional Competencies

• Experience managing BI and data warehouse projects in an iterative project management methodology
• Hands on experience with Microsoft data and analytics platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks & SQL Data Warehouse
• Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Expertise with T-SQL - queries, stored procedures, functions, views, constraints
• Experience on building Integrations between Power BI and SQL Data Warehouse or Data Lake
• Hands-on professional creation of advanced data visualization and dashboards by using POWER BI
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing POWER BI Dashboards and Reports.
• Hands-on experience with data architecting, data mining, and data modeling.
• Strong experience with data warehouse/data lake development techniques.
• Strong experience with SQL Data Warehouse and ETL solutions such as Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server, Azure, Databricks.
• Knowledge of Azure platform services (PaaS) and data stores, including Synapse, Azure SQL DB, Azure App Service, Databricks, Data factory, Azure Functions, etc.
• Knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network, and security
• Ability to develop and write Functional and technical specifications
• Rapidly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML fundamentals
• Ready to think, behave and act in an innovative consulting manner to drive the organizations digital business strategies.
• Nice to have - Knowledge of Data Science & programming such as Python, R, SAS, Java, or similar.
• Knowledge of Power apps
