Job Description

Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated Quality Control Microbiologist with 3 to 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to support our QC operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing microbiological testing on injectable products, ensuring that they meet stringent quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microbiological Testing:
• Perform routine microbiological tests on injectable products, raw materials, and environmental samples, including microbial identification, endotoxin testing, and sterility testing.
• Assist in conducting growth promotion testing and bioburden testing.
• Quality Control and Compliance:
• Conduct testing in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Document and maintain accurate records of all testing activities and results.
• Laboratory Management:
• Support the maintenance and calibration of microbiological equipment and instruments.
• Ensure laboratory environment is clean and follows safety protocols.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and review microbiological test reports, including documentation of any deviations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with senior staff to address quality issues and implement necessary improvements.
• Training and Development:
• Participate in training sessions to stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support ongoing projects and contribute to the development of improved testing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

3 to 4 years of experience in a Quality Control microbiology role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

• Familiarity with microbiological testing methods relevant to injectable products, such as endotoxin testing and sterility testing.
• Understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
