Menu Planning and Nutrition: Develop nutritious and balanced menus in compliance with school nutrition guidelines. Work with nutritionists and dietitians to ensure meals meet the dietary needs of students.
Food Preparation and Service: Oversee food preparation and service for daily school meals, special events, and catering functions. Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, hygienic manner.
Inventory and Supplier Management: Manage inventory of food and beverage supplies, ensuring availability and freshness. Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to obtain the best prices.
Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train food service staff, ensuring high standard of food quality and customer service. Implement training programs on food safety, hygiene, and nutrition.
Compliance and Health Standards: Ensure compliance with local health regulations and school policies regarding food safety and sanitation. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining facilities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, food service management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience : Previous experience in event planning and food and beverage management, preferably in an educational setting.Proven track record of successful event execution and food service operations of 5 - 8 Years in hotel industry background, preferably.
Other Requirements: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events. Strong physical stamina to oversee event setups and manage food service operations.
