Coordinate with Upstream Business for Feedstock Availability and schedule for downstream planning
Analysis & Simulations for What ifs and changes in Demand/ Supply Scenario ( In APO and Offline)
Preparing medium term Material Balance for Demand/ Supply scenarios for Domestic and Exports coverage levels as key decision inputs
Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling
Monthly Production Planning based on opening stock, Consensus Demand Received, substitute grades, Product Wheels & Target Safety Stock Levels
Regular Plant Coordination: Plan vs Actuals deviations, Plant Constraint Updates from Feedbacks, Process Order Conversion, Planning Master Data
Regular Coordination with the BG, Demand Planning and Execution Teams for Dynamic Market Feedback for responsive and Optimal planning
Production Scheduling based critical Materials (e.g. Chemicals and catalysts) and feed stock availability
Regular Plan Vs. Actual Review & necessary action with Simulation
Finalization & publishing of the Production plan with BU and Plants and Update for Changes
Managing Master Data including Process Orders for Plant Communication
Inventory Management and Control
Implementing for Optimized Inventory Strategy for Optimal inventory levels
Management of Safety Stock at plant/depot with objective Min Stock out & Sales Loss
Depletion of ageing stock / slow moving grades.
Reporting and Analysis
Variance Reporting # Customer, Sales and Product Variance
Business Analysis of various decision making scenarios (Make Vs Buy, Produce Vs Not Produce e.t.c.
Education Requirement :
Necessary:
B. Tech/ B.E./ MBA
Desirable: Diploma / Degree in SCM
