What you will do ?Youll lead the Digital Solutions India Team, which will include all functions of the global Digital Organization including Portfolio Management, Solution Delivery, and Operations. The Digital organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer experience across all of TJXs e-Commerce,Marketing, Customer Services and Sierra platforms. We seek a motivated, talentedglobal leaderwith experiencein a complex, multi-national corporate setting with geographically dispersed teams to deliver in the SAFe methodology and has experience in the different functions that make up Digital.What you will need ?The Digital Solutions Team thrives on strong relationships and teamwork to deliver the best digital experience to TJX customers. In addition, you will be actively coaching and mentoring engineers and developers in the product teams to help identify and resolve issues with technology and product processes, while working with other global delivery leaders in a matrixed capacity to enable their teams.
  • This role will lead teams that will help with maturing various business and technical capabilities.Partner with key stakeholders & IT leaders across all levels to drive solutions to meet business needs
  • Manage and lead multiple global modernization, engineering, QA, and DevSecOps teams for multiple product and technical domains in an Agile environment
  • Accountable for the end-to-end technical delivery of complex technical Epics, or technical aspects of larger Epics to achieve business outcomes that may span more than one product team or technical domain
  • Partners with various leaders within IT as needed to forge key agreements around solution approaches / designs and operating principles
  • Experience with a matrixed management organization
  • Holds accountability for establishing and ensuring best engineering practices are followed/adopted for achieving operational excellence for business solutions (including QA and DevSecOps practices)
  • Acts as first point of contact for strategic requests from a technology perspective, and an escalation point for issues not resolved at a lower level in relation to the delivery of technical components
  • Serves as a liaison with other IT partners for technical matters relating to their owned products (inc. security related aspects)
  • Influence senior technology, product management, program management and business leaders to recommend solutions and articulate trade-offs that could span more than one product team / technical domain
  • Sets the vision for the function and ensures the team is comprised of highly skilled professionals who are empowered, engaged in continuous improvement, and invested in developing their capabilities.
  • Sponsors IT driven initiatives to enable alignment to a domain roadmap or improve operational efficiencies or business effectiveness.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Responsible to build out a strong functioning team with product and engineering excellence to deliver on long term business capabilities.

Skills/ Knowledge:
  • E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, and Retail Point of Sale experience preferred.
  • Familiarity or experience with Oracle ATG and NetSuite, .NET, SAP Hybris, Manhattan, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of the solution delivery lifecycle including project management, business requirements, application development, testing, technologies/platforms, agile development methodologies, use of product team structures, and/or other applicable methodologies.
  • Strong champion of DevSecOps and Engineering practices.
  • Proven success in meeting business objectives/project goals and delivering technology - well organized individual able to hold people accountable for results.
  • Experience in building out a strong functioning team with product and engineering excellence to deliver on short term & long-term business capabilities.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies & public cloud platform is strongly desired
  • An enabler of DevOps mindset/approach for modernized and legacy systems to co-exist
  • Executive presence and excellent presentation skills a must.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at crafting a compelling, clear and objective case.
  • Leads team of 2 - 8 direct reports and 20-45 indirect staff (consisting of TJX Associates and contract staff; may include professional services teams) across multiple disciplines and geographies in the delivery of technical solutions over a wide variety of platforms.
Minimum Experience:
  • Typically has 15 years prior experience in systems, business management or related field with at least 5 years leadership experience in technology and systems including HR responsibilities.
  • Experience managing a global function in a complex, multi-national corporate setting with geographically dispersed teams.
  • SAFe certification preferred. Experience with resource planning and management across multiple projects.
Minimum Formal Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; master's degree in related discipline a plus.
