Job Description
: Mill Steel is seeking an extremely organized and detail oriented individual to expand our Quality Department. This is a full time position. The person will work closely with our applications team to minimize losses, while learning steel defects and engineering specifications for steel.Our employees enjoy full coverage health insurance as well as a healthy 401K and many more benefits. - Review and manage supplier claims and internal process inventory quality.
- Monitor scrap and tracking inventory issues.
- Assist customers with claims and rejected material to minimize loss and customer disruption.
- Assist with automotive PPAPs and environmental and regulatory requirements documentation.
- Manage continual improvement projects.
- Facilitate robust corrective action plans.
- Assist metallurgists as needed.
