Position Title: MES Systems Business Integrator (Senior Resources) Job Level: P1-P2 Industry: Pharmaceutical / Biotech Job Category: Information Technology - System Analysis / Design Location: Lilly Capability Center India (LCCI) Position Brand Description This Dedicated M&Q IDS position will be part of the Global API MES Team. The Global API MES team is purposed to deliver and support Manufacturing Execution Systems through championing standardization of business processes and common Syncade (Software by Emerson) modules that enable manufacturing sites to deliver world class performance. This position will focus on the following key elements: Managing Syncade software release lifecycle, licensing technology & processes Managing application regression testing Global object development and management Escalation point for Tier 2/3 support support (monitoring platform, DB, system health, troubleshooting servers, resolving network/firewall issues etc.) Key Objectives & Responsibilities Drive new releases & hot fixes technical assessments and related interoperability test with Syncade Collaborate with sites and deep dive to understand the MES business processes/workflows/recipes Interact with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements for each of the sites for the various initiatives (includes integrations, interfaces, data etc.). Document in the form of user stories along with the business rules by interpreting the design document Influence life cycle decisions. Coordinate & manage LCM processes. Executes facilitates complex technical upgrades Configure & deploy MES software application and system. Enables common processes across the sites such as RA Behaviors, Global Components and Work Instructions, build a repository for common components. Proactively influence the business towards replication & standardization to drive value and implement the appropriate technical solutions Evaluate emerging technologies and implications to Syncade solution Maintain open communication with Emerson to address needs in standard solution or via functional packs. Understand their upcoming patches, new capabilities, roadmap and evolution of Syncade Evaluate and translate functional requirements into technical solutions Ability to problem solving and work through manufacturing situations. Escalates to vendor as appropriate Ensure project and/or validation documentation is maintained during lifecycle & release management Find innovative ways to leverage Syncade to drive business value Develops assists in the creation and maintenance of the interfaces with external systems Enhance Global Base Knowledge Library Basic Requirements 5-12 years of Syncade (or other MES) experience, or relevant manufacturing experience Knowledge of S95 Architecture Model Some knowledge and depth across M&Q business areas and Manufacturing IT application portfolio General awareness and knowledge of security, regulatory, legal, and quality requirements (privacy & GxP) Understand Technical pieces of Syncade and the alignment of behaviours, should be able to modify existing recipes Assess impacts and perform regression testing, patch testing, integration testing etc. Guide MES engineers on the team, provide assistance, review their work and provide constructive feedback for opportunities to improve. Ensure e-Mfg solutions interface appropriately with other ERP systems and LIMS systems. Ensure e-Mfg solutions provide a robust method for gathering and analyzing process data Provide input into the development of an eMfg implementation schedule, and perform activities in accordance to the schedule. Additional Preferences Relevant manufacturing experience Strong technical skill in Syncade: Manufacturing Execution (or another MES) architecture and troubleshooting Strong knowledge of S88 Standard & control system MES interface concepts Knowledge of data management concepts and practices Recipe authoring - Ability to develop recipes from scratch will be an added advantage. Provide input into the development of an overarching eMfg strategy.
