Role Overview:

As a MERN Lead Full-Stack Developer, you will take ownership of technical solutions, guide a team of developers, and collaborate across departments to build next-gen applications. Your expertise in the MERN stack will drive the development of both front-end and back-end components while ensuring architectural excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of MERN developers in developing high-quality applications.
• Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and efficient software systems.
• Conduct regular code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in MERN and related technologies.

2. Full-Stack Development

• Build highly responsive and scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services seamlessly.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Ensure high-quality front-end interfaces with a focus on user experience.

3. Project Ownership

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Break down complex technical challenges into actionable tasks.

4. DevOps and Deployment

• Oversee application deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cloud-based hosting solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Implement best practices for security, reliability, and scalability.

5. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure defect-free releases.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• MERN Stack Mastery: Proficient in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Front-End Skills: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern libraries like Redux, Context API, or MobX.
• Back-End Skills: Experience building scalable APIs and microservices.
• Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB); familiarity with relational databases is a plus.
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, and GraphQL is a significant advantage.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Proven experience managing and mentoring teams of developers.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in a leadership capacity, such as managing teams or leading projects (preferred/nice to have).
• Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Understanding of serverless architectures.
• Experience with real-time communication tools (e.g., WebSocket).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for high-traffic applications.
