Function : Merchant Banking Position Title : AVP/DVP Location : Mumbai Reports to : Business Head

Qualifications:

• CA/CMA/CFA/MBA from Tier business school with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Work Experience :

• Experience in Loan Syndication/fund raising/ credit analysis
• Experience of making credit assessment notes for Banks and other financial institutions
• Sound understanding of Credit appraisal, due diligence and legal documentation.
• Experience in handling market databases such as Ace equity, Bloomberg, Reuters and/or exchange platforms
• Awareness of market trends, pricing information and underwriting appetite

Core Purpose of the Role :

• Work on loan/fund raising transactions for loans of corporates, real estate and financial institutions.
• Liaison with clients for understanding funding requirements and obtaining required financial data/information.
• Financial Analysis of the company, preparation and submission of Credit appraisal proposals for the lenders
• Liaison, inter-act and follow up with lenders for sanction & negotiate the terms of sanction.
• To obtain sanction and handle post-sanction formalities for documentation and disbursement.
• Stay updated of the wider policy, regulatory environment and recent development in the financial markets.
• Building and maintaining investor database and manage investor interactions.
• Monitor the deal pipeline and other KPIs through Preparation, Analysis and maintenance of MIS.
• Preparation of analytical material for internal credit underwriting and for external investors

• Sound understanding of financial statements and excellent analytical ability.
• Has increasingly in-depth knowledge of relevant industries and sectors
• Ability to interact with clients and investors on funding requirements.
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
