Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of merchandising and marketing. The Merchandiser will be responsible for attending buyer meetings, costing, price negotiations, preparing Time & Action Plans (TNA), and ensuring samples meet buyer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandising & Marketing: Implement and execute merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
• Attend Buyer Meetings: Participate in meetings with buyers to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Costing: Accurately calculate costs and prepare cost sheets for buyers.
• Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices with buyers during meetings and over email.
• Prepare TNA: Develop and maintain Time & Action Plans (TNA) as per buyer requirements to ensure timely delivery.
• Sample Checking: Inspect samples as per buyer comments before sending them to the buyer.
• Buyer Communication: Discuss and pass all buyer comments and instructions to relevant key persons.
• Instant Decision-Making: Make immediate decisions to rectify any mistakes or avoid buyer comments during production.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: Source fabric accessories and negotiate prices, ensuring they are followed up until in-house.
• Weekly Meetings: Arrange weekly meetings with the merchandising team, production team, and sample section.
• Inspection Coordination: Arrange pre-final and final inspections of products.
• Export Documentation: Check all export documents as per buyer LC clause before sending to the buyer and request payment release accordingly.
• Account Balance Sheet: Maintain and manage the account balance sheet.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of merchandising, marketing, and garment manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in cost calculation and preparing cost sheets.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Immediate availability for joining.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
