Key Responsibilities: • Product Planning: • Develop product strategies and plans based on market trends, consumer insights, and brand positioning. • Determine product mix, assortment, and pricing to optimize sales and profitability. • Create product calendars and timelines to ensure efficient development and launch. • Product Development: • Work with design teams to create innovative and appealing ethnic wear collections. • Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. • Manage sample development, fit checks, and quality control processes. • Range Planning: • Develop range plans that define the assortment, quantities, and timing of product launches. • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. • Buying and Sourcing: • Source materials, trims, and components from reliable suppliers. • Place purchase orders and manage inventory levels. • Sales Support: • Provide sales teams with product knowledge, selling tools, and merchandising guidelines. • Analyze sales performance and make recommendations for adjustments. • Market Analysis: • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences. • Analyze sales data to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
