Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Create innovative and engaging merchandise designs, including apparel, accessories, and promotional items.
• Develop mood boards, sketches, and digital prototypes to visualize ideas.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
• Market Research:
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
• Incorporate market insights into design strategies to ensure relevance and competitiveness.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and production teams to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to ensure designs are accurately produced.
• Quality Assurance:
• Review product samples and ensure designs meet quality and brand standards.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure final products are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
• Maintain organized documentation of design files, revisions, and production details.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in merchandise design, product development, or a similar role.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.).
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and branding.
• Excellent sketching and prototyping skills.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and cost considerations.
• Attributes:
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
