We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team working on a hospital project. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the hospital facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare facility design and construction, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MEP systems for the hospital, including HVAC, electrical power distribution, lighting, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated design and construction.
- Conduct site meetings to ensure compliance with design specifications and identify potential issues.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and documents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC).
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including hospital administrators, medical staff, and facilities management teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues during construction and commissioning phases.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP design and construction, preferably in healthcare facilities.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent technical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, LEED AP) preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in hospital design and construction projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and systems (e.g., MGPS, CSSD, MOT, etc. ).
- Experience in commissioning and testing MEP systems.
