Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer to join our team at Gymkhana Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the club facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of building codes, energy efficiency standards, and best practices in MEP engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop MEP systems for new construction and renovation projects within the Gymkhana Club facilities.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards in all MEP designs and installations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP projects.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring they meet performance requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on existing MEP systems to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
• Stay updated on advancements in MEP technology, energy efficiency practices, and sustainability initiatives to continuously improve club facilities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to club staff on the operation and maintenance of MEP systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for equipment procurement, repairs, and upgrades as needed.
• Manage MEP project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, or or related field.
• Proven experience in MEP design, installation, and maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or recreational facility.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
