Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards. Work with the mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure integration of systems for energy efficiency and safety. Oversee and manage the installation of electrical wiring, circuits, lighting systems, and electrical panels. Ensure installation is completed according to specifications, project timelines, and safety standards. Conduct inspections and regular maintenance of electrical systems to ensure proper operation. Identify and resolve electrical issues, including faults in circuits, lighting, and power distribution systems. Collaborate with other MEP teams (mechanical and plumbing) to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems into the overall project. Supervise contractors or electricians to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with codes and regulations. Suggest and implement energy-saving solutions, including the use of renewable energy sources and efficient lighting systems. Monitor energy usage and provide recommendations for reducing consumption. Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and operation manuals for the electrical systems. Maintain records of electrical system performance and repairs.
