As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

• Developing Verilog/System Verilog behavioral models for compiler/custom memories.
• Develop/Support compilers from scratch to generate behavioral Verilog models.
• Help define the teams High Level Design Review and create a Validation Strategy
• Develop/support LVLIB/MASIS models for memory BIST.
• Developing memory FPGA models for Emulation platform.
• Developing DFT test models and Fast scan models.
• Perform Signoff simulations for Functional/Formal verifications for all compilers/custom architecture memories.
• Prepare thorough QA suite for compiler/custom suite to ensure high quality releases.
• Responsible for Developing/Maintaining the signoff memory verification tools and QA Tools.
• Support debugging issues with SoC teams to solve memory interfacing issues/queries.

Preferred Technical Qualifications

• Good understanding in Memory functionality.
• Good understanding of CMOS low power circuit.
• Thorough knowledge of simulator tool like Vsim/VCS/Finesim/CustomSim.
• Thorough understanding of Verilog/System Verilog Coding.
• Good understanding of BIST models like LVLIB/MASIS.
• Good knowledge in CLP/STA.
• Good understating of Unix/Shell/Perl/Python is plus.
• Strong communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

2-5 years with demonstrated experience in team leadership.

Possesses sufficient technical competency to participate in and add value to program and technical discussions and resolving issues.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Excellent team interface skills and the ability to work under tight timelines

Excellent analytical skills

Required Evidence of ability to apply critical thinking and interpersonal skills to practical situations

Good understanding of technical knowledge, engineering language, and acronyms

Must function self-sufficiently with little direct supervision.
