Position Title: Digital Content Manager

Department: Digital Marketing Marketing

Position Description: Broadridge is seeking a Digital Content Distribution Manager for our rapidly expanding digital operations. The Content Distribution Manager will serve as the main interface between Broadridge Digital, our vendors and multiple content management platforms

In addition this role will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring we maintain an up to date and effective taxonomy for all content managed within the CMS
  • Applying SEO best practices and regular auditing of the sites for search optimization
  • Perform QA on web pages and improve content management efficiency
  • Observing a mobile first philosophy in all projects
The Content Distribution Manager will facilitate communication with content editors and business marketers to ensure the corporate web properties are up to date. The Content Distribution Manager is responsible for the coordination of digital marketing messages, catalog and product assets, and creative in digital systems and associated web pages, taxonomy management, SEO, content retirement process, email campaigns, 24hr / 3 day email reporting .

The Content Distribution Manager will coordinate the troubleshooting of technical issues as it relates to the managed web properties and content management platforms. Duties include working with the marketing and publishing community through Demand Center to establish project priorities, keeping projects on schedule, ensuring our releases follow a rigorous and documented QA process through our QA team. This role will serve as the subject matter expert on the content management platforms, email sending through Eloqua and new digital product development enhancements.

The Digital Marketing team serves as an internal agency partner to build a cohesive digital marketing experience for line of business (LOB) marketers across the organization. The Content Distribution Manager should be a highly-motivated professional who executes with excellence and attention to detail. The individual will be responsible for working with the Marketing Communications and LOB marketers to implement marketing campaigns for Broadridge.com by partnering with members of the Digital Marketing Team in delivering all relevant segment/brand campaigns. This position will report to the Director of Digital Properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day activities are focused on overseeing the content generation and publishing process across all digital platforms
  • Generate, proofread and edit content for various forms of digital media - including websites, micro posts, SEO content, and social media channels
  • Set up, manage approval, target through campaign list selection and deploy email campaigns as per briefs from marketing teams.
  • Track performance and report on email campaigns against best practice 24hr / 3 day reporting
  • Ensure SEO best
  • Deploy, manage and schedule workload and ensure timely delivery of all work product
  • Generate, document, maintain and enforce standards / processes for consistency, marketing strategy and industry best practices including a mobile first philosophy.
  • Code, format, and optimize creative deliveries for the various client-facing platforms
  • Full knowledge of Eloqua marketing systems and uses, including the set-up and management of automated email newsletters
  • Work with the marketing team to develop an annual editorial calendar to reflect organizational needs
  • Partner with third-party vendors and serve as the main point of contact on specific projects for the creative services and Marketing teams
  • Cooperate with segment marketing teams and Digital Marketing Team to implement marketing campaigns, banners and promotions according to guidelines
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to client questions and resolve issues with the web development team
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Oversee the documentation of website training materials that ensure compliance to digital systems that empower the marketing team to engage with the Digital Team
  • Execute postings across social media including searching, sizing and presenting suitable visuals
  • QA of postings and images across devices
  • Review and report overall trends on social media channels
  • Work with Good Data and analytics for efficient data aggregation from social channels
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/PGDM degree required
  • Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in publishing content on web pages and content audit
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of structured content-driven Web applications, platforms, publishing, and/or technologies
  • General technical expertise (CSS, HTML) familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms
  • Preferred experience with Search Engine Marketing / Pay-Per-Click (PPC), and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies
  • Knowledge and/or solid understanding Google Analytics, SEO and SEM
  • Knowledge and understanding of Digital tools and technologies
  • Experience managing vendors
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to maintain systems; strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience marketing in a B2B industry preferred
