Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create novel and original work across a variety of mediums (digital and print) for a variety of audiences (healthcare professionals, patients, consumers).
• Develop a refined understanding of the brand, disease, and the overall therapeutic/treatment category.
• Ensure the creation of all content is developed with appropriate tone, style, and structure based on brand strategy, creative brief, and client expectations.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising communication requirements.
• Ability to understand appropriate medical/technical documents (clinical studies, product monographs, publications) and translate them into compelling messages and content for a wide variety of audiences.
• Demonstrate superior writing skills and a high level of professional craftsmanship (referencing, annotating).
• Submits copy/concepts in a timely fashion, with enough time for revisions before copy goes to the client.
• Familiar with modular content and omnichannel marketing - the ability to develop and maintain content matrix and core claims documentation.
• Assist copywriter or senior copywriter on various tasks/projects.
• Demonstrate ability to set priorities while handling multiple tasks.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with both clients and staff.
• Keep supervisor up-to-date on all projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
Required Skills • 6-9 years of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare advertising.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Portfolio containing work samples that demonstrate strong conceptual abilities, creative thinking, and exceptional writing skills in a variety of communication forms (eg, sales aids, direct mail, websites, social) for a variety of audiences (eg, healthcare professionals, patients, consumers).
• Demonstrated understanding of omnichannel marketing, modular content, and required processes for content development.
• Experience with referencing and annotating, and client MLR submissions requirements. AMA experience is preferred.
• An ability to understand and process healthcare information.
• Able to multi-task in a faced paced environment while functioning as a member of a highly collaborative team.
• The desire to work with a diverse group of teams, projects, and clients.
• Strong conceptual ability, standout creative thinking, and top-notch writing skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead a team, work with cross-functional teams, and engage with clients.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, allocate resources effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
