Responsibilities:

Transcribe various medical reports including patient histories, physical examinations, laboratory results, and other medical documents.
Maintain accuracy and completeness of all transcribed documents, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
Ensure timely completion of transcription tasks, meeting tight deadlines as required.
Familiarize yourself with medical terminology and procedures to facilitate accurate transcription.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or ambiguous information in the documents.
Review and edit transcribed documents for grammar, punctuation, and clarity as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Continuously update knowledge of medical transcription practices and software tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Graduate degree with a certificate of relevant training in medical transcription.
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical transcription, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare procedures and practices.
