Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing sonography reports and other medical documents, ensuring precision and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

-Transcribe and type sonography reports from dictations and recorded audio.

- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all transcriptions.- Review and edit transcriptions for errors in spelling, grammar, and medical terminology.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.- Organize and manage the transcription workflow to meet deadlines.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any ambiguities in the dictations.

- Keep updated with new medical terminology and advancements in medical transcription practices.

- Assist in maintaining and organizing medical records and documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Certification in medical transcription or a related field.

- Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.

- Proficiency in medical terminology, especially related to sonography.

- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

- Good organizational and time management skills.

- Proficiency in using transcription software and medical record management systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience in transcribing sonography reports.

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
