We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Cardiology Live Scribe to join our dynamic cardiology team. The primary role of the Cardiology Live Scribe is to assist cardiologists by documenting patient encounters in real-time, ensuring accurate and efficient recording of medical information. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in cardiology and healthcare documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Real-Time Documentation: Accurately document patient history, physical exam findings, diagnostic test results, procedures, and cardiologist's assessments and plans during patient encounters.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management: Efficiently navigate and input data into the EHR system, ensuring all entries are precise and comprehensive.
• Patient Interaction: Assist with patient flow by updating patient status and informing the cardiologist of patient arrivals and delays.
• Clinical Support: Provide support during cardiology procedures by preparing necessary documents and ensuring all relevant information is readily available.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate documentation.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and managing medical records.
• Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in a related field such as pre-med, biology, or healthcare administration is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience as a medical scribe or in Cardiology healthcare setting is required. Familiarity with cardiology terminology and procedures is essential.
• Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using EHR systems and medical documentation software. ( E-Clinical Works)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, particularly in cardiology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
