The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling patient interactions, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the hospital reception area.Key Responsibilities:- Front Desk Management:- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.- Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures.- Patient Interaction:- Handle patient inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.- Assist patients with filling out forms and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.- Administrative Support:- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, and filing medical records.- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, and memos.- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits.- Record Keeping:- Maintain and update patient databases and electronic health records (EHR).- Perform data entry and scan documents.- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.- Communication:- Communicate with internal hospital staff to ensure prompt resolution of patient inquiries.- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate communication and workflow.Qualifications:- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
