The job role for a •Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)• professional at •Health Zone Path Labs Private Limited• in Odisha typically includes the following responsibilities:

• Sample Collection and Preparation : Collect blood, urine, tissue, and other samples following standardized procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Laboratory Testing : Conduct routine and specialized diagnostic tests, including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and pathology tests, using laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Quality Control and Assurance : Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy and reliability. Regularly calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
• Data Recording and Reporting : Document results accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols. Prepare reports and assist in interpreting results for the medical team.
• Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab instruments to minimize downtime, ensuring all equipment meets safety and functionality standards.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere to biohazard, chemical, and physical safety protocols as per regulatory standards, ensuring a safe work environment for patients and staff.
• Inventory Management : Track lab supplies and reagents, maintain stock levels, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Patient Interaction and Support : Interact courteously with patients for sample collection, explain procedures, and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain records of all lab work, following confidentiality and data protection guidelines, and assist in generating regular reports for lab management.
