Job Description

We are actively looking candidates with experience in Health Care Industry (Hospitals, Health Insurance, and TPAs - Third Party Administrators) to join our team as a medical coder and work on coding and billing for various medical services.

Job Responsibility:

• To code on medical reports as per the client specification
• Analyzing Medical records and code them wherever required
• Assign correct codes and perform edits as per the correct coding initiative
• Strong understanding of medical terminologies, SNOMED CT, coding systems like ICD-10 and CPT, and medical billing procedures and guidelines related to various insurance providers like Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance Companies and TPA's.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
• Keep up to date with coding changes and education
• Collaborate with the billing department to ensure all bills are satisfied in a timely manner
• Knowledge of ICD10 & ICD9
• Communicate with insurance companies about coding errors and disputes

Skills & Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Medical Coding & Billing or related domain in Healthcare industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, medical practitioners, insurance providers, and patients
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with medical billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• B.SC (Medical) or any related field graduate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
