We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller with at least one year of experience in medical billing, particularly in Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and hands-on experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes, as well as modifiers. Medical billing certification is a plus. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller with at least one year of experience in medical billing, particularly in Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and hands-on experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes, as well as modifiers. Medical billing certification is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of medical billing, including posting charges, posting payments, insurance and patient billing, appeals, insurance follow-up, patient and practice communication, and denials.
- Constructively communicate and problem solve with Medicare and commercial insurance companies using their respective portals, as well as through verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and independently work well within a group environment.
- Utilize E Clinical Works software for billing tasks, making prior experience with this software mandatory.
- At least one year of medical billing experience.
- Experience with AR follow-up.
- Proven track record and hands-on working experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes, as well as modifiers.
- Ability to constructively communicate and problem solve with Medicare and commercial insurance companies.
- Proficiency in using insurance portals and verbal and written communication.
- Medical billing certification is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work independently within a group environment.
- Mandatory experience with E Clinical Works software.
