Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Product Designer to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative mechanical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets performance, quality, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Design and Development:
• Develop innovative and functional mechanical product designs from concept to production.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
• Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to inform product design.
• Perform feasibility studies, design validation, and cost analysis to optimize designs.
• Prototyping and Testing:
• Build and test prototypes to validate designs against specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues through iterative improvements.
• Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to align designs with production capabilities and market requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material selection and component sourcing.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform tolerance analysis and stress testing on designs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in mechanical product design or related roles.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal, CNC machining).
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in design and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
