Position : Lead - Mechanical Estimation

Location-Dhobi Ghat, Shanti Nagar, Mahalakshmi, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400034

Function : Tendering & Estimation

Major Responsibilities:

Mechanical estimation of large industrial units like Steel plants, Refineries, Pipelines.

Study tender specifications/requirements, list down queries and clarify with Client/consultant, prepare RFQ for obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes, carry out detailed estimation activity wise, assist in technical proposal preparation (Project Execution Plan, Schedule, Resource deployment), prepare S curve and assist in cash flow preparation.

Coordinate with support functions/divisions for proposal preparation.

Preparation of detailed mechanical costing sheet with back-ups.

1.Tender evaluation:

• Evaluate project scope in detail
• Activity listing, study specifications/requirements

2.Technical proposal

• List down queries and clarify with Client/consultant
• Project Execution Plan, Schedule, Resource deployment), prepare S curve
• Coordinate with support functions/divisions for proposal preparation

3.Estimation

• Prepare RFQ for obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Carry out detailed estimation activity wise

4.Commercial proposal

• Preparation of detailed mechanical costing sheet with back-ups
• Assist in cash flow preparation

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical estimation
• Knowledge base of cost factors and productivity norms in various regions
• In depth knowledge of mechanical Engineering Codes and Standards
• Knowledge of crane load chart and preparing lifting diagram for heavy lifts
• In depth knowledge of scheduling in Primavera
• Techno Commercial Skills

Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech. - Mechanical

Certification in Primavera Scheduling

Experience:

10-15 years of experience in project estimation in India and overseas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
