Basic Function
------------------



The role is a supervisory position for the engineering office at Mumbai. The person would be involved in providing Mechanical Engineering services from Mumbai office to NA/EAI Sites.


Roles & Responsibilities

Functional Competencies

• Experience with 'design / integrity assessment / retrofitting' of 'Stationary/Fixed Equipment' such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, reactors, columns & air coolers.
• Know-how on thermal analysis using HTRI of heat exchanger or review of thermal analysis reports
• Preparation & review of
• Mechanical data sheets, requisition for inquiry, vendor offer evaluation, technical bid analysis & vendor document review.
• Knowledge of software like PV Elite / Compress / Microprotol / Autopipe-Vessel,
• Working Knowledge of International codes such as ASME Section VIII D1/D2, TEMA, API 660 & API 661 etc.
• Preferred to have Knowledge of codes EN 13445, AD-Merkblatter, PD 5500, CODAP etc.
• Preferred to have knowledge of front end engineering of project along with detail engineering
• Preferred to have Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
Min. Qualifications

Education:


Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed Institutes




Work Experience:

Minimum 4-8 years of relevant post qualification experience in design (Domestic and International) with reputed engineering companies with at least one jobs as Lead Discipline Engineer. Preferably should have also worked in Refining and Petrochemical industry in design/maintenance. Quality Certifications will be appreciated
