Purpose
You will provide Mechanical Engineering services to Worley, and its customers and may provide technical support within the Process team.
Responsibilities
• Minimum 6 years' experience is required.
• Detail engineering for Rotating Equipment and related packages for Process Units, Off-sites and Utilities.
• Proper selection of rotating equipment and auxiliaries as per the process conditions and specific project requirements.
• Knowledge of different Process Licenser specific design requirements and construction features.
• Understanding of Inspection requirements. Review of shop and site test procedures.
• Understand various types of materials to be used for different services and review of vendor proposed materials.
• Knowledge of other industry/regulatory codes and standards like API ANSI, ISO, BS, BIS, IS, ASME, OISD, Licensor & Client specifications etc.
• Familiarity with model reviews and Hazop sessions and use of SPR is desirable.
• Broad working knowledge of the principles and practices of executing large projects.
• Ability to quickly provide data for carrying out preliminary detailing / estimation by Mechanical and other Engineering disciplines.
• Trouble shooting, resolution of Client and site queries.
• Knowledge & assessment of Suppliers capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate work with other engineering disciplines and other stake holders including other offices.
• Good oral as well as written communication skills are essential.
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience
• Minimum 6+ years' experience in Rotating design offshore / Onshore / Refinery projects.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Developing skills in design software.
• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Required:
• A recognized Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Preferred:
• A recognized Degree in the Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
