Job Title: Mechanical Operator - Diesel Generator (DG Set)

Location:Tarapur, Maharshtra

Experience: Minimum 2 years



Position Overview :

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Operator to join our team at the Nagarnar location. As a Mechanical Operator specialised in Diesel Generators, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of diesel generators to ensure continuous and reliable power supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor diesel generators to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical facilities.
• Perform routine inspections and checks to identify and address any mechanical issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including filter and oil changes, as scheduled.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely refuelling.
• Keep accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any anomalies or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new generator sets.
• Follow the manufacturer's guidelines and best practices for diesel generator operation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Operator for Diesel Generators.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining diesel generator systems.
• Knowledge of diesel engine components and mechanical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical issues.
• Safety-conscious and committed to following safety regulations.
• ITI, Mechanical Diploma/ B. Tech/ B.E or equivalent.
