Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Incharge to oversee the maintenance of our foundry equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, specifically in plano millers, lathe machines, cranes, sand plants, knock-out machines, and no-bake continuous mixing machines. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance Management:
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for all mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Schedule and oversee routine and preventive maintenance activities.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and train maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during maintenance operations.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs:
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct repairs on plano millers, lathe machines, cranes, sand plants, knock-out machines, and no-bake continuous mixing machines.
• Inventory & Procurement:
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring timely procurement to prevent operational delays.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training for maintenance staff.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a foundry or railway casting environment.
• Proficient in maintenance and repair of plano millers, lathe machines, cranes, sand plants, knock-out machines, and no-bake continuous mixing machines.
• Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
