- Utilize SolidWorks CAD tool to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, particularly in sheet metal and plastics injection molding.
- Design and develop complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Proficient in drafting, detailing, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Perform manual design calculations and have exposure to FEA analysis.
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage design verification, documentation, and engineering change management processes.
- Conduct product teardown and function analysis, leading technical evaluations for decision-making.
- Familiarity with VAVE methodologies, global design standards like IEC, UL, CSA, NEMA, and compliance standards.
- Execute design verification protocols and related documentation.
- Conduct failure analyses, investigation reports, and cost estimate proposals for projects.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, proactiveness, and take ownership of assigned projects.
