About part time job/internshipSelected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Collaborating closely with product, business, and operations teams to understand pain points and integrate mechanical design with broader product requirements
2. Creating and optimizing enclosure designs for NIR spectrometers, ensuring robustness, user-friendliness, and aesthetics
3. Overseeing the manufacturing process, including procurement of components, assembly, and quality control of hardware devices
4. Owning the full hardware product development process from concept to delivery, including prototyping and testing
5. Regularly maintaining and troubleshooting devices, ensuring they meet performance standards
6. Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly, testing, and maintenance and providing training to internal teams and customers
7. Assisting in addressing customer queries related to the mechanical aspects of the device, offering troubleshooting guidance when necessary
