Ready to join us About this opportunity As Mechanical Engineer you will be Researching and developing the mechanic aspects of Products, Processes, Integration Tools & Jigs for Align Technology products. Serves as a professional focal point for mechanical engineering designs in focus of plastic parts. In this role, you will Be Part of mechanical R&D group. Take responsibility on research and development activities as member in the mechanical R&D team and/or as solo. Lead research and feasibility project as part of the HW team. In addition to the membership in the mechanical group he/she will be a member in H/W team. As a member in such group, he/she will fulfill a rule of mechanic consultant/task leader. Additional Responsibilities: Support operation groups like Engineering, NPI, CS, QC, QA in their tasks as a mechanical expert. In this role, you\'ll need BSc in Mechanical Engineer At least 5 years of experience as Mechanical engineer At least 3 years in plastic parts design Fluent CAD skills (SolidWorks, or similar) Experience in plastic parts designs and assemblies (Include surfaces). Experience in designs of high/Low injected plastic parts Experience with working with industrial designers Proved experience with production processes such: Injection molding, over molding, double injection, Vacuum forming, 3D printing, CNC Experience in multidisciplinary products design Familiar with thermoplastic materials properties SolidWorks Simulation skills is an advantage PC operation skills (Words, Excel, Power Point . etc.) Sound like a good fit Great!
