Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to oversee the design, engineering, and management of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of solar projects, from feasibility studies to project completion. This role involves site visits, preparation of technical documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Engineering Coordination

• Lead and supervise the preparation of solar project designs, layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, codes, and best practices in solar energy systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and vendors, to finalize project designs.

2. Feasibility Studies and Detailed Project Reports (DPR)

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the technical and economic viability of proposed solar projects.
• Prepare comprehensive DPRs, including technical, financial, and environmental analyses.

3. Bidding and Contracting

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and bid evaluations.
• Support the contracting process, including reviewing vendor proposals and participating in negotiations.

4. Project Management and Execution

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and manage resources effectively to meet project milestones.
• Conduct regular site visits to supervise construction and installation activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges during the project lifecycle.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical drawings, and test results.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status and performance metrics.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• 2 or more years of experience in any field. (Mechanical / Electrical Engineer)

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related components.
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and practices.

Project Management Expertise:

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and contractors.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?300,000.00 per year
