Looking for a Mechanical Draftsman in Visakhapatnam.

Position- Mechanical Draftsman

Experience- 4 years or more

Location- Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Gujarat

Job Responsibilities

1. should have the experience on auto cad, Catia, StaadPro mostly familiar structural &piping and civil design, detail drawing & BOM preparation.

2. To prepare as built drawing of the project from construction drawings based on the modification done during execution.

3. Able to clarify the query/doubts arising while fabrication from drawing released for execution.

4. coordinate with external engineering service provider ( who provide working drawings)

5. Knowledge on material specification of raw material like steel, pipeline, pipe fitting like valve, flanges etc.

Cement, Cables, VFD, Motors etc. with BOM quantiles to be provided indrawing's

6. Site Plane review for critical and expensive pipe routing access arrangement and process requirements.

7.Required to have hand sketch field id any required during initial design stages or during execution stage.

8.Attend design review to present design ideas and to discuss and critique alternative design solutions.

9. Prepares technical planning both electrical &mechanical during critical lifting activity & erection activity.

10. Preparation of process flow diagram/PID's etc. and ability to study them.

11. preparation of BOM based on drawings with complete material standards & dimensional standards.

12. Acquaintance with basic structural design calculations.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Associate degree in drafting
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and CADWorx
• Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities
• Able to work within strict deadlines

Preferred:

• Professional certification in mechanical drafting
• Experience with mechanical manufacturing process
