Profile: Draftsman-Boiler Industry Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Year of Experience Required: 3 to 6 Years Field of Experience: Boiler Manufacturing, Mechanical Drafting JOB PROFILE:
- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and detailing boiler components and assemblies.
- Capable of interpreting and creating drawings according to design specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop detailed drawings for boiler components including pressure parts, non-pressure parts, ducting, structures, etc.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOM) for manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements in all drafted documents.
- Coordinate with engineering and fabrication teams to address any design or manufacturing issues.
- Assist in creating and maintaining drafting standards and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Capable of making revisions and updates to drawings as required during the design and manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling tools is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with boiler design standards and codes is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidEdge, etc.).
- Understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Problem-solving abilities to address design and manufacturing challenges.
