Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer with expertise in steel structures to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and detailing steel structures for various applications. This role requires a strong understanding of structural design principles, material properties, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting:
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs for steel structures using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, or similar tools.
• Create detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Structural Analysis:
• Perform preliminary and detailed structural analysis to ensure designs meet load and safety requirements.
• Analyze and optimize structural components for strength, stability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Standards & Compliance:
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and codes (e.g., IS codes, ASTM, AISC, Etc)
• Maintain quality control throughout the design process to meet project and industry requirements.
• Collaboration:
• Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, and fabricators to ensure smooth project execution.
• Incorporate feedback from structural engineers, clients, and stakeholders into designs.
• Site & Project Support:
• Provide technical support during erection phases, including troubleshooting design issues.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure alignment with design specifications.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in steel structure design and related technologies.
• Propose and implement improvements to streamline the design and fabrication process.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in designing steel structures (e.g., industrial buildings, Artiu, Facade, trusses, etc.).
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software).
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?47,000.00 per month
