About the role: We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in transformer tank and structural component design. This role involves working on key mechanical systems of power transformers, including tanks, covers, and external accessories, for global applications.Key Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Design transformer tanks, stiffeners, covers, and external parts such as coolers, conservators, pipework, turrets, and conduit systems.xc2xb7 Develop and manage 3D models using CAD software (e.g., CREO, Inventor, UG) and PDM tools (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).xc2xb7 Create and review customer documentation including general arrangement drawings, foundation plans, and valve plates.xc2xb7 Apply relevant international and customer-specific design standards.xc2xb7 Support design for manufacturing, including fabrication, surface treatment, and painting for extreme weather conditions.We donxe2x80x99t need superheroes, just super minds.

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s or Masterxe2x80x99s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (other engineering degrees may be considered with relevant experience).

• 3 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (CREO/ProE/Inventor/UG) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD).

• Experience using PDM systems (e.g., PDM Link, Teamcenter).

• Familiarity with FEA tools such as ANSYS or Pro Mechanical is an advantage.

• Good understanding of international transformer design standards and tank design practices used in European/global projects.

• Knowledge of SAP and working in a global engineering setup is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to engineering work.
