Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovationsResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assignedAs a Mechanical Design Engineer II of MEIC, you will collaborate with the product development & Design teams globally. You will be working with global team, wherein you will be involving on Manufacturing transfers, process validation( IQ,OQ,PQ) & Statistical analysis, Drawings with good GD&T application, Tolerance Stack up analysis, Test Fixtures Design, Prototype Building and applying your knowledge on medical devices/Electromechanical products.Medtronic is a world leader in providing health care products that benefit individuals\xe2\x80\x99 well-being. As a result, we need a Mechanical Design Engineer II who will ensure we deliver the best on-time with high quality for our products.

• Mechanical Design Engineer II should have the very good knowledge on new product development process, Sustenance Engineering and cross-functional aspects.
• Should be able to work on manufacturing transfer projects, with sound knowledge on product & Process validation procedures.
• Good knowledge on MSA study & reporting.
• Should be able to prepare Drawing redlines & 2D drawings per ASME Standards with sound knowledge on GD&T.
• Should create 3D CAD Models using Creo either from scratch or able to edit the complex models.
• Should create 1D and 2D Tolerance Stack up analysis and ability to consider GD&T as well.
• Should be able to understand design problems and bring up optimal workable solutions.
• Must be having to communicate outstandingly with our global team.
• Must be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
• Should be able to use windchill PDM link to manage CAD Data flawlessly.
• Should have an extraordinary communication in terms of articulating and writing.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 8 years of relavent experience.
• Hands on CAD-systems, such as CREO \xe2\x80\x93 expert level (Drafting & Modelling) as well as datamanagement systems such as Windchill & Agile.
• Thorough knowledge and experience on product development process.
• Very good verbal communications to interact with global partners.
• knowledge on PPAP creation and review.
• Knowledge in Concept Development, Design transfer, sustenance Engineering
• Well verse with GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis.
• Medical Device Experience
• Manufacturing process knowledge
• GD&T Certification
• ANSYS or any equivalent Prediction Software
