Job Description

: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design, particularly in the context of prefabricated homes. As a Mechanical Designer at Building Outdoor Space, you will be responsible for:

• Designing mechanical systems for prefabricated homes, including HVAC, plumbing, and other building services.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conducting site visits and overseeing the installation of mechanical systems to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Utilizing design software to create detailed mechanical plans and schematics.
• Ensuring all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Contributing to the development of new mechanical design concepts and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the construction or prefab homes industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
