Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Chennai The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for performing and providing oversight to the Engineering-to-Order activities of the Complete Combustion Solutions (CCS) engineered systems group. CCS provides turn-key combustion solutions for new or existing applications in a wide range of industrial and commercial markets. Key activities of the role include providing analysis and technical review of Requests for Quote (RFQ) and/or Customer Purchase Orders to determine design requirements, and create engineering documents for customers. He/she will ensure the timely completion of engineering design drawings including general assembly, customer approval drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings. Basic Qualifications: .Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering from top-ranking reputed universities/colleges in India. .Min 7years\' experience in mechanical engineering, design, engineering, and fabrication of process Piping .Experience in equipment piping, valves, and skid systems .Experience in 3D product Modelling, using Creo Direct is preferred, Experience in any similar 3-D software is .Knowledge of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams. Preferred Qualifications: .Familiar with piping codes - ASME B31.1 and B31.3, NFPA 86 and 54 .Familiar with various global mechanical and electrical codes and standards like NFPA, NACE, UL, FM, etc. .Experience with natural gas handling sensors, fittings, regulators. .Experience with combustion equipment and systems. .Experience with welding practices. .Experience with SAP or other similar ERP software is preferred. .Ability to size Pressure Regulators and piping systems.
