CadDesk is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mechanical CAD Trainer to join our team and help impart industry-leading CAD skills to our students. As a Mechanical CAD Trainer, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students through the use of CAD software and mechanical engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience with CAD software, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Training Delivery:
• Conduct engaging, high-quality training sessions on mechanical CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, etc.) for students and professionals.
• Design and deliver curriculum-based training programs tailored to the needs of different audiences, including fresh graduates and working professionals.
• Provide demonstrations and practical exercises to help students master CAD techniques and applications in mechanical engineering.
• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and update training materials, including presentations, exercises, tutorials, and practical assessments.
• Continuously improve training methods and content to keep pace with advancements in CAD software and mechanical engineering technology.
• Student Assessment and Feedback:
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and practical assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain records of student performance and attendance.
• Technical Support:
• Offer troubleshooting and support for students facing technical issues with CAD software.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and software updates to ensure the training program is relevant.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other trainers, team members, and department heads to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Contribute to workshops, webinars, and training sessions as needed.
• Student Motivation and Mentorship:
• Encourage students to excel in their learning and assist them in building confidence in using CAD tools effectively.
• Guide students with project work and assignments to foster practical application of CAD concepts.
Requirements:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or equivalent.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on knowledge and experience with popular mechanical CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, etc.).
• Familiarity with CAD-based design, drafting, 3D modeling, and simulation techniques.
• Experience:
• Previous teaching or training experience in CAD tools or mechanical engineering subjects is preferred.
• Hands-on industrial experience in mechanical design and CAD applications is a plus.
• Communication Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods based on the learning needs of different students.
• Personality Traits:
• Patience and passion for teaching and sharing knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Desirable Skills:
• Certification in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.) would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in CAD technology and mechanical engineering.
• Ability to conduct workshops, webinars, and group training sessions.
