Mechanical CAD Trainer - Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical CAD Trainer

to educate and mentor students or professionals in computer-aided design (CAD) software used in mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate should have expertise in industry-leading CAD tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo, a strong background in mechanical design and engineering principles, and the ability to use the BIM tool REVIT MEP.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct training sessions on

Mechanical CAD software

(AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, etc.). Develop course materials, manuals, and training presentations. Provide hands-on demonstrations and guide trainees in practical exercises. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. Keep up to date with the latest CAD software updates and industry trends. Assist students with real-world mechanical design projects. Customize training programs based on student needs (beginner to advanced levels). Maintain records of student progress and training effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related field. Strong proficiency in one or more

CAD software

(AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, etc.). Prior experience as a

CAD Trainer

or working in a mechanical design role. Excellent communication and teaching skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners of all levels. Experience in

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

is a plus. Knowledge of

manufacturing processes, 3D modeling, and design validation

is preferred. Certification in relevant CAD software is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

3D modeling, rendering, and simulation skills. Experience with

CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing)

tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to train both

online and in person

Based on experience and expertise.
