Job Description

Job Responsibilities:1. Fitting & Assembly of Machine Components

Perform

fitting, alignment, and assembly of machined components

as per drawings Use

files, grinders, and hand tools

to ensure precise fitting of parts Work with

shafts, bearings, gears, and mechanical assemblies

2. Engineering Drawing Interpretation

Read and interpret technical drawings

to perform accurate fitting work Understand

GD&T symbols, tolerances, and machining specifications

Verify dimensions using

calipers, micrometers, and height gauges

3. Machine Maintenance & Repair

Assist in the

maintenance and repair of machines & mechanical systems

Dismantle, repair, and reassemble

machine components like slides, spindles, and gears

Conduct

preventive maintenance

to reduce machine downtime

4. Precision Drilling, Tapping & Grinding

Perform

drilling, tapping, reaming, and grinding

for component finishing Ensure

proper surface finish and alignment

as per job requirements Maintain accuracy in

holes, slots, and mechanical joints

5. Inspection & Quality Checks

Inspect fitted components to ensure

dimensional accuracy and proper alignment

Work closely with the

quality control team

to ensure defect-free assembly Identify defects and rework parts as per

quality standards

6. Workshop Safety & Organization

Follow

safe working practices and PPE guidelines

in the workshop Maintain a

clean and organized work area

Handle

tools and measuring instruments carefully

to prevent damage

Skills & Competencies Required:

?

Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment

? Ability to

read & interpret engineering drawings

? Proficiency in using

measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, dial gauges, etc.)

? Experience in

hand tools, grinders, and drilling/tapping operations

? Basic understanding of

machine maintenance and repair work

? Knowledge of

workshop safety practices and handling of mechanical components

? Good problem-solving skills for

troubleshooting fitting issues

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
