Job Role: 3D designer

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical 3D Designer skilled in CAD to join our engineering team. This role requires someone with a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and proficiency in 3D modelling. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to create precise and efficient designs, helping to bring our products from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Modeling & CAD Design: Create detailed 3D models and CAD drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on project specifications and requirements.
• Concept Development: Work with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and refine design concepts, ensuring feasibility and alignment with technical objectives.
• Prototyping & Testing: Support prototype development by providing accurate design documentation and technical insights. Modify and improve designs based on test results and feedback.
• Design Optimization: Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, cost-efficiency, and functionality, utilizing CAD tools to make precise adjustments.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of design versions, revisions, and final documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on 3D modeling and CAD. Experience with [mention specific software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360] preferred.

Skills:

Proficient in 3D CAD design and modelling

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles

Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and tolerance analysis

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
