Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Kannur , specializing in the maintenance and repair of Bharat Benz Tipper trucks (6 & 10 wheels). The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience working on heavy vehicles, especially in the repair and servicing of Bharat Benz trucks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on Bharat Benz Tipper trucks (6 & 10 wheels).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, axles, and electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Replace or repair worn-out parts , such as engines, brakes, tires, and suspension systems.
• Ensure the vehicle systems are functioning optimally and meet safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
• Assist in major engine overhauls and transmission repairs.
• Perform other maintenance-related tasks as needed, including vehicle lubrication , filter changes , and brake servicing .
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure timely repairs and avoid any delays in vehicle operations.

Key Requirements :

• 5-10 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably working with heavy vehicles like Bharat Benz Tippers (6 & 10 wheels).
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle engines , transmissions, axles, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for working with heavy machinery.
• Must be detail-oriented with a focus on providing quality service.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of working with large and heavy vehicles.
• Willingness to work in Kannur and stay at the company-provided accommodation.
